MICHAEL HAUSMAN (Executive Producer) was the executive producer of Robert Benton's "Nobody's Fool" and "Places in the Heart."

He recently produced (with Oliver Stone and Janet Yang) "The People vs. Larry Flynt," directed by Milos Forman. Hausman's association with Forman goes back to 1970 with "Taking Off," Forman's American directorial debut. Hausman was the first assistant director on "Hair," the executive producer of "Ragtime" and "Amadeus (which won eight Academy Awards®) and producer of "Valmont."

Hausman was the executive producer (with Lindsay Doran) of "The Firm," "A Family Thing" and "No Mercy." He was the producer of "Homicide," "Things Change" and "House of Games" (all for writer/director David Mamet), as well as "Desert Bloom," "Silkwood," "The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez," "One Trick Pony," "Heartland," "Rich Kids," "Alambrista!," "Mikey and Nicky" and "State of Grace."

In addition to his producing career, Hausman teaches at the Graduate Film School at Columbia University in New York. A native New Yorker, Hausman graduated from Cornell University.
